Matthew Kerrigan is the eldest child of former figure skater, Nancy Kerrigan. Matthew and his two other siblings know how to skate and are also engaged with other activities. Their mother was elected into the US Figure Skating Hall of Fame but perhaps more memorable than her international recognition and numerous titles and awards was the attack that she suffered in 1994.
Nancy was walking through a corridor after her practice when Shane Stant, friend of fellow competitor Tonya Harding’s ex-husband, hit her right leg with a police baton. Tonya pleaded guilty of the attack and Nancy has since moved on. In fact, she resumed with her intensive training after recovering from the traumatic incident.
Kiyan Anthony is the only child of NBA player, Carmelo Anthony, and actress, La La Anthony. Carmelo, a small forward for the Houston Rockets is a famed athlete with an impressive recognition as a 9-time NBA All-Star. 12-year-old Kiyan seems set to follow his father’s legacy in basketball as he is actively engaged in the New York Gauchos basketball program in New York City.
Kiyan also appeared in a Jordan-brand sneaker commercial alongside his famous father. Now, we have a mini-version of Carmelo and we’re holding out hope for him to become a brand new basketball superstar in no time. Indeed, these skills run in the blood. There’s no denying that.
Son to super couple, David and Victoria Beckham, Brooklyn exudes style and fame just like his famous parents. He pursues his passion in photography and is often spotted hanging out with celebrity kids, Jack Scott Ramsay and Rocco Ritchie.
Brooklyn’s father, David Beckham is a retired pro-footballer and became the first English player to have won league titles in four countries: England, France, Spain and the United States. Victoria Beckham, famously known as Posh Spice of the pop group, “The Spice Girls,” is now recognized as a style icon and fashion designer. That said, it’s no wonder Brooklyn always looks dashing. We hope he’ll consider carrying on his dad’s legacy and playing football soon (fingers crossed).
Another NBA superstar player who has an incredibly entertaining child is Julius Erving. His daughter with sportswriter, Samantha Stevenson, has made a name for herself in the world of sports. Young Alexandra Stevenson made her tennis debut back in 1999 at Wimbledon.
Alexandra was previously named in the top 20 best singles players and was often pitted against the greatestest tennis players, like Serena Williams, Mary Pierce, and Monica Seles, among others. Stevenson graduated with a degree in sociology from the University of Colorado. Isn’t it amazing that she graduated with honors while playing professional tennis at the same time. Such a pro, isn’t she?
Zaire Blessing Dwyane Wade
The Miami Heat’s all-time leader in points, shots, and steals, Dwyane Wade, has three sons: Zion Malachi Airamis Wade, Zaire Blessing Dwyane Wade, and Xavier Zechariah Wade. The 14-year-old Zaire is obviously living his dream and his father’s to be a basketball star, too.
The six foot tall youngster made his famous father proud when he pulled off a great move against Tim Hardaway Jr. in a Miami Pro League game in July 2018. Recognized as a three-time NBA champion and Most Valuable Player in 2006, it’s obvious that Dwyane passed his playing skills to Zaire which are impressively delivered by his son.
