Lexie Gerrard is the daughter of British soccer manager and former player Steven Gerrard, and his wife, model Alex Curran. Gerrard was a fierce central midfielder and even captained the English national team, ultimately retiring from playing soccer in 2016.
Since 2017, he’s managed a few big clubs, most notably Aston Villa, from 2021-2022. Lexie isn’t much of an athlete herself, instead taking after her mom by starting a career as a fashion model.
Another kid of a famous athlete who’s following in his parent’s footsteps is Nate Montana. Nate is the son of “The Comeback Kid,” aka Joe Montana, and is a professional football quarterback just like his father. Currently a free agent in the NFL, we hope Nate will score big in his career in no time.
This is not impossible as his father is a four-time Super Bowl Champ and was inducted into the Football Hall of Fame. The list of his impressive recognitions is lengthy but one thing’s for sure, Nate has the best football coach anyone could dream of. Lucky you, Nate.
Enzo Zidane is the eldest son of French soccer star Zinedine Zidane and his wife, former dancer and model, Véronique Zidane. Zinedine is considered one of the best players and most successful coaches in history and was a force to be reckoned with on the pitch back in his day as an attacking midfielder.
Enzo was named after Enzo Francescoli, a Uruguayan soccer player who Zinedine greatly admired. Sure enough, Enzo is living up to that name as a budding soccer star himself.
Joel is the son of the legendary German soccer player and manager Franz Beckenbauer.
Franz is considered one of the greatest players in the history of soccer and is the only player to have won the World Cup as both a manager and player. He was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 1998.
Young Joel boasts nearly 30k Instagram followers, who enjoy watching him travel and play golf.
Christian Cannavaro is the son of the Italian soccer coach and former star player, Fabio Cannavaro and his wife, Daniela Arenoso. The older Cannavaro captained the Italian national team that won the 2006 FIFA World Cup. In 2009, he took the title of the most-capped player in Italy's history.
Christian is making his own name as a soccer player for an Italian club. No doubt his drills at home dwarf that of his teammates.
